All architects in Aix-les-Bains

As everywhere in France, an individual building for themselves must use an architect once the floor area exceeds 150 m², counting the total after works for an extension. A company, including an SCI, always needs one for a building permit. The local rules for Aix-les-Bains (height, position, appearance) are set out in the local plan (PLU).

Fees are free and set in the contract. For a full mission, from design to site supervision, pricing guides usually quote 8–12% of the cost of the works excluding VAT for a new house and 10–15% for a renovation or extension. A mission limited to the building permit application is usually a fixed fee of about €1,500–4,000 excluding VAT.
